Jackie Stanley – Director

Educated in London at Our Lady’s and St. Aloysious Convents, Jackie travelled extensively living in Rome and California for a time. On her return to London, Jackie started working as P.A. to an entrepreneur in West London where she learned and honed her business skills.         

She met and married a Cornishman from Trevone who bought her to North Cornwall the day after their wedding. After having three beautiful daughters Jackie did a refresher business management course at a local college and returned to work for an independent Estate Agent who was bought out by Black Horse Agencies. Jackie managed one of their most successful offices for several years, however, in the 1990’s recession decided to ‘go it alone’ and has been trading independently since 1994 in Padstow, opening her second office in Rock 2 years later. Jackie says having lived and worked in North Cornwall for over 30 years, she feels privileged to live in such a beautiful environment. Her family passions are horses, art and enjoying the beautiful coastline, pursuits we still enjoy and a lifestyle we never would have had if we had stayed in London.

Her greatest joy is that all her daughters having been away to University, graduated and travelled have all returned to Cornwall to have their families and assist in the business, which incorporates Harbour Holidays specialising in quality holiday rentals.

Gail Thomas – Branch Manager

Gail has been with the company since 2004 and is the manager of our branch in Padstow. Having lived in Padstow all her life she has exceptional knowledge of the area and a real passion for everything relating to her home town “being very passionate about the area I work in helps me to create a much more personal service for my clients”. With a customer orientated approach coupled with her efficiency and technical ingenuity, Gail’s clients are always kept ahead of the game.

Simon Poole – Branch Manager

Simon grew up in East London and relocated to Cornwall in 2009 with his partner Clare and their son Oscar. After graduating from University with a degree in Popular Music, he went on to work as a session musician before spending nearly 10 years at Abbey Road Studios as a sound engineer. He has always held a great interest in property and has established a thorough understanding of the area and market. Now running our office in Rock, Simon enjoys seeing new property and meeting new clients as well as keeping prospective purchasers fully informed with up-to-date information on the market and our properties for sale. In his spare time, Simon plays football for Wadebridge Town Football Club and loves spending time on the beach with his family.

Nicky Stanley – Director

Nicky is Jackie's eldest daughter and has been with the company since the mid 1990's.  Nicky is a partner and director of Harbour Holidays Limited, our letting company. Nicky has a strong background in art, design and promotion having graduated with Fashion, Promotion and Illustration.  Nicky travelled extensively, living in London and Australia before returning to her native Cornwall, using her skills and experiences to develop the company. 

Her own artwork and design is prevalent in the promotion of Harbour Holidays and Nicky is dedicated to providing a high quality of service and has the drive and knowledge to keep the company moving forward with innovative presentations and web site upgrades. Nicky says 'I love living and working in Cornwall and it is particularly satisfying working within the tourism industry and being able to use my artistic talents in drawing and photography to their full advantage'.

Having helped in the business from an early age, Nicky has developed a thorough understanding of the market and what customers are looking for. Nicky's hobbies are mostly sport orientated including triathlons', competing with her horse, keeping fit as well as extensive charity work and enjoying life in Cornwall with her family.
