With ancient floors & walls, beamed ceilings & bags of character, this 4 bedroom property occupies an elevated position

Situated in a quietly elevated position within Boscastle, just a short walk to the historic and bustling harbour which is beautifully preserved and maintained by the National Trust, Ingledene is a deceptively substantial Grade II listed semi detached cottage with the benefit of off road parking and a fascinating woodland garden secretly located in the valley below.

Inside, a wonderful blend of ancient slate floors, beamed ceilings and bags of character are sympathetically combined with some contemporary additions to create a comfortable, homely yet large and spacious cottage.

On the ground floor, the large kitchen/breakfast room with beech block worktops, ample dining area and integrated appliances sits adjacent to the cosy sitting room/snug. This in turn leads to the main living area with lovely slate floors, traditional stone walls and a wood burning stove set within a large inglenook fireplace. To the rear of this room on a lower level is an outer passageway, useful as a utility area.

Up on the first floor, four cosy yet good size double bedrooms offer hugely light and characterful sleeping accommodation. Both the family bathroom and separate shower room are contemporarily styled with crisp white sanitary ware and grey wood panelling. There is also a cloakroom on this floor.

Externally, one can enjoy extremely private outside space overlooking the valley below. Beyond the first patio terrace, follow the wooden bridge over the flowing stream to the fascinating and wild woodland garden, secretly located and enchanting with lovely views through the surrounding trees. Step down to yet another private terrace and valley vista! Off road parking for two vehicles is catered for by means of a shared access driveway to the side of the cottage. Services to the property include mains water, electricity and drainage with an oil fired central heating system.

We at Jackie Stanley highly recommend an internal viewing to fully appreciate the size and character of this property, as well as an external wander through the enchanting gardens.
