As well as a great selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and takeaways, there are two local farm shops, the luxury eco hotel/spa The Scarlet and, of course, the beautiful west-facing beach so popular with surfers, bathers and dog-walkers.  Walkers are well placed to enjoy the wonders of the South West Coastal Path with fabulous walks to the likes of Watergate Bay and Bedruthan Steps being within reach.  For Golfers, there are two links courses within about 20 minutes, Newquay Golf Club and the championship Trevose Golf & Country Club at Constantine Bay.  Mawgan Porth is also well placed for transport links being within easy access of Newquay Airport and just a 15 minute drive to the main A30.

To find 6 White Lodge, take the Highgate Hill junction of the A30, signposted Newquay, St Columb and Indian Queens.  Follow the A39 towards Wadebridge and Padstow for 2.5miles to the Trekenning roundabout at which you take the first exit, signposted Newquay A3059.  After 1.5 miles, turn right towards Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth. Follow this road for 2.8 miles, past Newquay Airport to a T-junction with the B3276. Turn right to Padstow, Trenance and Mawgan Porth. Follow the B3276 for 1.4 miles, through Trevarrian and into Mawgan Porth. Drive down towards the beach and pass through the width restriction. Start to drive up the road passing the crazy golf course and the entrance to White Lodge apartments can be found as the road bends on the left hand side.
