Located in the desirable old town area of Padstow just moments from the hustle and bustle of this vibrant town and working harbour, Kosel Cottage is a pretty two double bedroom Grade II listed cottage. Behind the attractive stone façade is characterful and comfortable accommodation.
The accommodation begins with a pleasant and inviting sitting room. To the front aspect is a sliding sash window and window seat, offering a vista of the ancient church and woods beyond. The room is light and bright with original beams to the ceiling, a feature fireplace, some recessed understairs storage and a soft neutral palette. Stairs rise to the first floor before stepping into the kitchen at the rear. With beams to the ceiling, the kitchen has a range of cream fronted floor and wall units with a contrasting work surface and tiled splashback. The kitchen has an integral fridge and electric oven, an electric hob, washing machine and a stainless steel sink. A timber stable door leads up to the rear garden.
After a day exploring the narrow streets of Padstow, retire to one of the two double bedrooms up on the first floor - one with a sliding sash window and window seat providing a view of the church and the rooftops beyond. The second bedroom has a Velux window and integral storage. Last but not least is the shower room, a crisp white suite complete with fully tiled walls, a tiled shower enclosure and heated towel rail.
The courtyard garden to the rear is elevated with some shrub borders. It enjoys a sunny aspect from morning to evening and is perfect for alfresco breakfast or quiet evening drinks. To the very rear is an external storage building, perfect for storing away bikes and bodyboards. The central steps are shared with the neighbouring cottage. Services to the property include mains water, electricity and drainage.
Located in the heart of the conservation area just moments from the vibrant harbour, quaint shops, cafes and restaurants of picturesque Padstow, we at Jackie Stanley highly recommend an internal viewing of this pretty cottage to see the character and comfort for yourself.
