A delightful three bedroom Grade II Listed cottage full of character and charm, situated in the heart of the village

Situated just yards from the harbour is this charming and traditional Grade II listed cottage dating back to the 18th century, offering comfortable accommodation and retaining many original features such as beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and slate flooring.

Lundy Cottage is a delightful cottage located on a popular street in the heart of the village that leads directly to the harbour, with a variety of shops and restaurants on your doorstep. The first floor accommodation comprises two double bedrooms, one of which enjoys glimpses of the sea, one single bedroom and a family bathroom consisting of a bath with separate shower, wash basin and low level WC.

On the ground floor is a quirky, fisherman cottage kitchen with wall and base units, space and plumbing for a washing machine, an electric oven and stainless steel sink unit. The open plan living and dining room is spacious and characterful with slate flooring, beamed ceilings and an exposed stone open fireplace which truly is the focal point of the room.

The property is currently let on a holiday basis by the current owners with bookings that will need to be honoured but would equally suit as a family holiday home or permanent residence in this popular picturesque fishing village. Services to the property includes mains electricity and water with night storage heaters located throughout the property.

Port Isaac is a historic picturesque fishing village, which is well known for its role in the current TV programme ‘Doc Martin’ as the fictional town of ‘Portwenn’. It offers many breathtaking walks across the dramatic coastline of North Cornwall as well as its own beach and harbour. There are delightful boutiques and galleries for those who wish to explore the magical narrow streets and to finish off you can always pop into one of the cosy café’s, pubs or restaurants. The neighbouring village of Port Gaverne was once a thriving 19th Century fishing port and to this day remains unspoilt with the sheltered sandy beach protected by the National Trust.

To find Lundy Cottage, turn off the B3314 coast road onto the B3267 signposted Port Isaac. Upon entering the village, park your car and walk down towards the harbour. Lundy Cottage can be found on the left hand side half way along Fore Street, directly opposite The Golden Lion pub/restaurant. The postcode for satellite navigation is PL29 3RB.
