This unique one bedroom cottage is situated just a stones throw from the harbour picturesque fishing village

Tucked away down a narrow street in the very heart of this picturesque fishing village just yards from the harbour is this unique and extremely cosy one bedroom dwelling, the perfect bolt hole for a couple to get away from it all.

The Cellar is a former lobster shed and was converted by the current vendors within the last few years. The property is all on one level and comprises an open plan kitchen/living/dining room with a high ceiling and beams, French doors to the courtyard and Velux roof window. The kitchen is fully fitted with a small range of floor and wall cabinets and integrated electric oven and hob. There is under counter space for a freestanding fridge and slimline dishwasher. Moving through to the bedroom, this also has a high ceiling with beams, a Velux roof window and French doors to the courtyard. The en-suite shower room is fitted with a white suite, contrasting tiles and large walk-in shower enclosure with thermostatic shower.

Accessed from Middle Street through iron gates and with a right of way over the enclosed courtyard of adjacent Kittiwake Cottage, The Cellar has a right of way over the courtyard for access. The property has a small fenced off area with space for a table and chairs. To the left hand side there is a separate utility room with its own access. Services to the property include mains water, electricity and drainage.

The Cellar provides an excellent opportunity to acquire a unique bolt hole in Port Isaac located yards from the harbour with a track record of holiday letting and we recommend an internal viewing as soon as you can.

Port Isaac is a historic picturesque fishing village, which is now well known for its role in the popular TV series 'Doc Martin' as the fictional town of Portwenn. It offers many breathtaking walks across the dramatic coastline of North Cornwall as well as its own beach and harbour. There are delightful boutiques and galleries for those who wish to explore the magical narrow streets and to finish off you can always pop into one of the cosy café?s, pubs or restaurants. The neighbouring village of Port Gaverne was once a thriving 19th Century fishing port and to this day remains unspoilt with the sheltered sandy beach protected by the National Trust.

To find The Cellar, turn off the B3314 coast road onto the B3267 signposted Port Isaac. Upon entering the village, follow New Road and then turn off left onto Back Hill taking you down past the church. At the end of Back Hill, turn left onto Fore Street. Follow Fore Street all the way down to the harbour. With the harbour now on your right, turn left into Middle Street. The iron gates of Kittiwake Cottage can be found along on the left hand side with The Cellar across the courtyard. The postcode for satellite navigation is PL29 3RH.
